Before it was stuck in the cold idle loop where it would shoot up to about 2500, then drop right back to idle, and just keep repeating. Couldn't drive it. I had cleaned that valve to the point I would have licked it, but I guess it was the magnets that went bad. Damn magnets. Anyway, Now it's time to replace the tail light and the top. And trace a phantom electrical drain somewhere. Sigh. Keep the faith, Baby, I'm trying.

Yeah, that's the plan anyway.... I have the top, I just want to make sure that I have a couple of nice days lined up that I can devote to it. Going to the later glass window, so that should be much better.

I've read the DIY guides on soft top replacement. Good luck, get a friend to help if you can, and keep a lot of beer in the fridge to celebrate afterward.
